Dreaming the First

Warnings: TAUNTINGS and DISNEY under the cut!
Dream Effects: Shocked surprise at first, fading to tenderness- and then a precipitous fall into miserable despair, gradually hardening to bitter determination
Note: While this is no happy dream, it's also not a Moon Cycle nightmare; no illness shall be forthcoming.

NggggghhhAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!

[Philip jerked upright in bed, covered in sweat and staring wildly at the dark of his bedroom- and at no point does he notice the faint glimmer of the Dreamberry at his bedside table, its purple glow fading away.]

[Even at the best of times, Philip would be hard-pressed to cope with the sudden existence of someone so fabulous~

And this is certainly not the best of times.]
Are all dreams somehow public knowledge in this place, or just for me!?

[Many people would have a hard time coping with this sort of situation.]

I'm afraid so. It has yet to happen to me, but it would seem it's an every day occurrence.

[He's not particularly familiar with cosmetics at all, much less the kind of mascara this DUDE on a screen is wearing; it's a tricky and disturbing subject to be forced to deal with!]

Of course it is. Privacy is certainly one thing I'll be glad to go home for.

[Nonetheless, he forced a smile. It's not this man/woman/thing's fault, after all.] My apologies; I don't mean to have others suffer through my problems. Is there anything I can do in return Miss...ter...?

[It actually does wonders for bringing out your eyes and ladies love it! Not so disturbing at all.]

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart! But don't worry, I wasn't suffering through them at all. I'm more curious than anything.

[So you and David Bowie keep saying. He'll skip the chemical enhancements, but thanks anyway.]

Curious...?

Well. I suppose it's a different experience when you watch from the outside.

[Yeah, that smile is looking somewhat more forced. Philip really isn't comfortable on this topic, but politeness decrees his response.] How might I... relieve your curiosity?

[Suit yourself, man.]

Did all of this really happen? [If he was polite, he'd stop badgering the man. But he's not very polite when it comes to this stuff.]

...Yes. Yes, it did.

[Definitely not enjoying this, man; if you're wanting specific information out of him it's gonna take a fair amount of pushing and a crowbar]

Oh dear. That's certainly dreadful.

Not particularly enjoyable, no. [Thank you for being moderately nicer than the pink-haired person, Mozart. He might have to check as to whether Aurora would appreciate him in eyeliner after all.]

But you are a prince, yes? Certainly you vanquished evil. [She'll dig the eyeliner. It's a chick magnet.]

I did, yes... but it was hardly a foregone conclusion, and without help I never could've won. [Maybe YOU should try telling her that; she doesn't even use the stuff herself.]
